The Microgrid Sign Off and Handover phase involves conducting final inspections and clearing any Punch List Items to achieve Substantial Completion. Final Acceptance Testing is then undertaken the with Client. This phase is essential to ensuring the Client is satisfied the Microgrid systems meet required specifications and standards. Below is a more detailed list of events this phase typically involves.

 

1. Pre-Handover Client Inspections

Island Microgrids will support the Client in its final inspections.

  • Final Inspections: Conducting final inspections of all civil works to ensure they meet the design specifications and are ready for the in-service operation.

  • Punch List Completion: Addressing any outstanding issues identified during the final inspections.

 

2. Site Acceptance Tests

Island Microgrids with Client will undertake proving tests supporting handover to the Client to verify that installed components meet the required specifications and standards.

 

4. Handover Event to Client

Island Microgrids with Client on submission of all final signed reports and as-built documentation will hold a handover event with the client notifying an operational commencement of the system. Service and Warranty support provisions are communicated in this System Handover event.

 

4. Post-Construction Review / Formal Handover Event to Client

Island Microgrids will support the Client delivering this review typically 6 months after the commencement of operations.

  • Performance Verification: Monitoring the civil works to ensure they performed as expected under operational conditions.

  • Warranty Management: Tracking and managing any warranties associated with the civil works to address any issues that arise during the warranty period.
