Once the civil works are complete, the equipment mechanically and electrically installed, the electrical installations can be signed off to start commissioning and set-up of the microgrid.

 

During this phase, Island Microgrids supports the Client with the following typical activities. 

 

1. Control and Communication Systems Installation

Island Microgrids will install control systems, including hardware and software components. Set up the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for monitoring and control, and install communication networks to enable data exchange between microgrid components.

 

2. Testing and Commissioning

Island Microgrids will systematically bring the microgrid into operation, testing each part to ensure it operates correctly and safely

• Commissioning: Following procedures systematically commission and check the operation of each piece of microgrid electrical equipment.

• System Integration Testing: Perform tests on the integrated system to ensure all components work together seamlessly.
